Clearwater is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Clearwater is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Came here with a punctured tire. They patched the tire, but refused to reinstall it unless I paid an additional $15 just to swap it back with the spare donut tire already on the car. I asked them if I had arrived with the punctured tire already mounted on the vehicle, would I still have to pay the extra fee to remove it, patch it, and reinstall it. The employee replied “no, you would be lucky.” That response alone was unprofessional and frustrating. What made the situation worse was that there were multiple employees sitting around on their phones while this would have taken only a minute to do. Charging extra for such a basic step after already paying for the repair felt unreasonable. First and last time coming here. Very disappointing customer service.
